The Department of Master of social work started in 2023 with an objective to cater to the need of the region especially those potential learners who are unable to migrate distant places for pursuing regular MSW degree course. The Department emphasize on principles of entrepreneurship, excellence, and professionalism, and the department since its inception has evolved qualitatively to match industry standards in imparting teaching and training. The teachers with their varied teaching and research experience strive hard to encourage student’s career counseling to participate in management meets, Industrial tours (Inside and outside the State), seminars, webinars, and Personality development programs. The Department continuously invites the local industry leaders, senior level executive, government functionaries to regularly interact and provide input to the students. The department has furnished classrooms, dedicated computer laboratory with internet facility, modern teaching equipment like LCD projectors and a well stacked professional library. Learning is facilitated through a mix of classroom teaching, seminars, case studies, interaction with industry and society, quizzes, and group discussions, etc. It organizes campus selection and also encourages off-campus interview for providing better opportunities to the students.
