About Us

The department starting from date of its inception is taking the leadership in imparting the standard of Physics education in terms of teaching and learning in the state as well as in the country. Here we staff members are committed to create the environment for our students to experience a unique educational training that become socially and personally transformative. Our mission to instil scientific temperament among students and to create human resource to contribute growth and development of country.  Our main objective is the understanding Physics fundamental laws and apply it to solve complex science, technology and engineering problems. Our teaching is information and technology enabled, comprehensive valuation and feedback based involving active participation of students.
Students of this department doing research in prestigious research institute such as IISc, IITs and in top universities of our country and outside , Many students serving under PSUs, central and state governments in positions like Geophysicist, Assistant Professor, PGT, PO etc. Department is conducting seminars, webinars by eminent personalities in the emerging field to motivate students to pursue research in those fields. Department arranges alumni meeting to enable students interact with aluminise and gain valuable knowledge from their life experiences.

1.One Air conditioned computer lab for programming in different language, to use internet and mathematical simulation.

It acts as supplement to Main college library .It contains standard Physics text books for +3 and PG, Different Competetive examination related books, Popular Science and Literature books,Biographies, Popular Science and Competitive exam. Magazines etc.Books are issued to both students(Upto Four Books for each student) and Faculties (Upto 10 books ).
